The Rosy Barb is a vibrant, active freshwater fish prized for its striking pink and red coloration, especially during breeding season. These hardy schooling fish thrive in groups of six or more and prefer well-planted tanks with moderate water flow. They're energetic swimmers that add dynamic movement and colour to any aquarium. Rosy Barbs do best in temperatures between 18–24°C and appreciate plenty of space to explore. Ideal for intermediate aquarists, they're relatively easy to care for and compatible with other peaceful community fish of similar size.
